The member representating Boki1 State constituency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Mrs. Itam Abang Appreciates the Governor of Cross River, Sen. Prof. Ben. Ayade and the good people of Boki 1 for their undivided support during the 2019 general elections.

She made the remark during a reception held yesterday, the 11th of June 2019, at the Calabar Sports Club to mark her swearing in for a second term in the Cross River State House of Assembly, adding that the Boki1 people showed their love and strength not just to her but to the Governor, Sen. Prof. Ben. Ayade which reflected in the bulk votes, making Boki1 the constituency with the highest number of votes in Cross River State, in the 2019 general elections.
She also thanked the PDP family, TEAMITAM Campaign Organization, The Campaign DG, Hon. Ikobi Ikobi, Amb. Soni Abang, Dr Pius Tawo, Evan. Alfred Odok, Bar. Tina Banku Agbor, her dear husband, Bar. Emmanuel Abang, her lovely children and entire Boki1 sons and daughters for standing by her when it appeared all hope was lost.
In a goodwill message, the immediate past secretary to the government of Cross River State, Bar. Tina Banku Agbor congratulated Dr. Itam for the victory well deserved and called on Boki people to show love and support for one another rather than pulling our own down.
Similarly, The coordinator, National Youth Of Nigeria, Boki Chapter. Comr. Paul M. Bankong who was represented by the secretary of the Chapter. Jabe P. Besong Congratulated the honourable member while x-raying the need for quick response in finding a lasting solution to the continuous communual and cult classes that has characterized the region in recent times.
Other goodwill messages from Bar. James Atibile and Dr. Kingsley described Dr Mrs Itam as committed and bold politician who will stop at nothing legitimate to get results.
