Abimbola Otu is a native of Boki local government area in Cross River State, a graduate of Mass communication from the Cross River University of Technology. Abimbola is an Actress, Drummer, Poet, Singer and Fine Artist.
In an interview with Entertainment Parrot, Otu Abimbola says she intend to use her knowledge of art to impact on the young generation through an Art Academy.
Following the excerpt of the interview, Abimbola revealed she has been a lover of art from childhood (Writing and Fine Art) but started doing theatre professionally in 2011 when she became Segun Adefila’s P’A and member of Crown Troupe of Africa. When asked What influenced her choice of career, she said she was influenced by her passion for the arts as she have always loved art because it helps her express herself.

"I do quite number of things, I’m a poet, active artist, an actress, a drummer and a singer" she continued confidently.
Talking about some of her visual performances, Otu says she had been featured in “Golden Fleas” “Death and the King’s horseman”, our area, “Area Kalesdoscope, Opon Imo, Multi Choice (a) 20, “Moremi, Orisa and a host of others.
Projecting into the future Abimbola says she intend to use her knowledge of art to impact the younger generation through an art academy, That she's also working on becoming a published writer, poet and an exceptional female drummer.
She advised Nigerians to be consistent and discipline always, to try to learn and understand new things everyday thereby increasing their horizon.
