The Party Politics Syndrome In Our Political History: Time To Be Restrained

For barely 60 years existence of Nigeria, the basis for winning appropriately or manipulations has been made possible by using the advantage of major political parties and structures to victimized the little and unpopular political parties and their candidates no matter the level of their credibilities and capacities.




The ruling and main opposition party has been the slogan to perpetrates abnormalities against the lower parties and people of Nigeria. The ruling party syndrome has caused more harms than good in our national politics. Our people have been brainwashed and their minds eluded with unproductive and archaic style of leadership and propaganda in our political processes with little or no values for our national and individual development.

This primitive idea has conditioned our voting patterns for accepting money to make a choice of candidates through fraudulent and fake hopes and faiths. They have made our education to lost values and importance in the comity of nations. We have been given several reasons to regret for going to acquire education from  technical and tertiary institutions.




Many prominent Nigerians with good charisma and administrative abilities and skills to galvanize human and other resources for the development of our society have been denied the chances to showcase their credibilities, willingness and determinations.

The PDP presidential primary election that produces Atiku Abubakar as the party flag bearer has exposed most of my friends and associates who claim not to be interested in political parties but personality as very unrealistic and unreliable. I understood that most of them were just showing unnecessary hatred other than criticism of the government of the day.

I expected that Nigerians would be celebrating and preparing to disappoint these two major political parties for the first time in history on the account that the parties were criticized for lack of ideologies and blueprints for effective governance and administrative efficiency. Now that we have accepted party as criteria for voting, we should be ready to accept the outcome of the next general elections because,    no magic would happen that nothing will stop one of these devils, thiefs, corrupt and lack of political-wills as we fondly called both of them from being our president next year.




On the above account, I have solemnize my political support for Hon Hilary Bisong for his doggedness in the face of intimidation, discouragement from Several Boki appointees, friends who are afraid of the unknown and the lack of financial war-chest to compete with others. You have given me conviction that if God chooses to take you high, no pilot on earth can fly to your limit.
