Honorable Hillary Bisong, member representing Boki II state constituency in the Cross River House of Assembly has disassociated himself from a trending online post made by one Pius Eliman from Boki 1 State Constituency, which claims Hilary Bisong to be the preferred candidate to emerge Speaker in the 9th legislative assembly.
Having disengaged himself, he declared for 2nd term when he wrote: "I'm contesting for the seat of Boki II state constituency" and not for the seat of Speaker. He further emphasized on the fact that power comes from God not man.
Eliman which he revealed has been one of his critics; and getting to read such a post from him seems surprising. He however, re-affirmed his position that he's vieing for a second term in office and not vieing for Speaker.
