The ancient kakwagom bridge connecting the two kakwagom communities, Ekumba and Obumotang which couple of months ago was in a deplorable state is now wearing a new and dapper look.
The bridge which was formerly a blend of wood and iron is now a state of the art concrete bridge.
The bridge which is about 10 metres has occasionally been a burden as getting wood to replace the old woods has never been easy or effective. Hence, this development is a very welcome one.

Meanwhile, re-electrification is going on now in kakwagom, as we have seen truckloads of electric poles and already mounted poles.
