Hon. Hilary Bisong, member representing Boki II state constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly yesterday January 8 organised a stakeholders meeting involving representatives from all the political wards in Boki II to deliberate and take a position on what to present today January 9 during the public hearing and town hall meeting of the ongoing 1999 Constitutional amendment.

The meeting, which allowed constituents to air their views on the relevant provisions of the constitution to be voted for and against, enlightenend the people on the ongoing procedures and sections to be amended.

After a fruitful deliberation and sharing of ideas,  Dr Jake Otu-Enyia was chosen to present a paper at the town hall meeting onbehalf of Boki II.

Otu-Enyia, a former state lawmaker and the current DG, Cross River State Electrification Agency, lauded Hon. Hilary Bisong for organizing the meeting and bringing Boki Sons and Daughters to brainstorm and take a position in view of the town hall meeting.

The State Commissioner for New Cities Development, Dr George Abang Ekpungu, who also commended Hilary for the initiative, called on the people of Boki II to take advantage of the meeting and vote for the amendments that would better the lives of the future generation.
