1982: Ntamante- Ekajuk wars. Who were the allies that stood on the side of a brother in need and who were those enemies within the same Boki who turned their backs against a brother in need and rendered support surreptitiously to Ntamante enemies to annihilate them.
The wars raged on concomitantly: Njua Bano, a tiny Boki community were facing an onslaught from combined forces of Mbube with support from Boki brothers to annihilate our own. On the other side were our kinsmen Katchuan Irruan facing the onslaught from Idum Mbube. Hmmmm!!! This is Boki ! Within the Boki nation there were other Boki communities that won't bother if during these trying periods, Ntamante, Njua Bano and Katchuan Irruan communities were humiliated and possibly annexed to enemy territories.
Now, many years after have we been able to identify those enemies within us in same Boki with a view to correcting if needed the unnecessary divisions and deep rooted animosity.
I think its about time a reconciliation conference were held so as to discuss Boki.
We have been living together falsely.
Whoever thought that Nsadop could be invaded by very close neighbours in the 21st century maiming and killing each other in the process. Who ever said these skirmishes will not reoccur. The come not because of recent offences but rather of cumulative effects and of past histories told us in secrets. We need to know the truth and eventually reconcile.
The Bansan man needs to visit Nsadop without thinking if he spends his night there his head will be severed, soaked in mud and turned a skull to be displayed as evidence of heroism. The Kakwagom man should not doubt his safety if he spends his night in Ntamante without being hurt. These are the prevailing challenges but we pretend they do not exist.

By 2018 hopefully this reconciliation conference should happen so we could live happily amongst selves.
