Cross River State Local Government Polls: Where are the Boki Aspirants?

There seems to be some quietness in the camps of some aspirants seeking to contest the next chairmanship election to fill in the Boki slot.

Not much is been heard from them anymore, perhaps, the total silence on the part of the state government has further killed their morale as some of them are left to wallow in the dark for the uncertainty of when the polls will be conducted, haven't done wide consultations across the wards.

Here are some of the faces, whose minor underground activities are still been felt in some corners irrespective of how long they continue to wait for the state government and CROSIES to kick-start the process.

From left is Mr Jonathan Osang, he is a Director with SEMA in the state.  Osang believes that it is time for the youth to take over the leadership of the council, hence,  the chairmanship should be zoned to his ward. If a large percentage of the votes should come from social media, then Osang would win the day because he has been very consistent on showcasing his activities and convincing his teaming fans to support him. He has been advocating for peace to reign in Boki because he believes that development can only thrive in a peaceful environment.

The great man at the centre, Mr Alvin Ochang, he is a banker with many years of economic and financial experience. Ochang believes that complementing the rich agricultural produce of Boki with a stable market for the product will enhance economic activities in the area.

Ochang,  who believes in education and youth empowerment may be tactically quiet for now,  but his diverse supporters are doing the underground work for him. He hopes to clinch the PDP ticket with a view to bring his financial expertise on board by making Boki more productive and viable.

For Barr. Paul Asu, the Special Adviser, Legal,  Cross River Border Commission, to governor Ayade, is of the view that he is the right man for the job.

Asu, whom many belives is well experienced for the job, was the organiser of the last Boki new yam festival that attracted thousands of Boki sons and daughters world wide.

He is of the view that a new Boki is possible using the available resources in training the youth in diverse skill acquisition programmes,  education, promoting agricultural activities, liasing with relevant pathfinders in the health sector to attend to the health needs of the people and others.

Also, Leo Kidzy who seem to have won the hearts and love of the Irruan People.
Leo believes he can build a better Boki Local Government Area

In the weeks ahead, the people of Boki will certainly make their choice from these aspirants and many more others.

Who is your preferred man for the job...?
