The Chairman of Boki Local Government Council, Hon. Pst. John Ewa, yesterday, held an intensive meeting with Boki Security Chiefs. The security chiefs include heads of Police, NSCDC, Department of State Services, the Nigeria Immigration Service, etc. within the Boki Jurisdiction.
The meeting which held in his office in Boje, sought to address pertinent security issues affecting Boki and the smooth execution of their duties. Processes towards ensuring a long lasting peace in all the Clans of Boki were exhaustively deliberated.
Hon. Ewa, in the meeting, disclosed plans to carry out a four days Peace Tour round Boki, and how he wants various security agencies to get involved. The peace Tour has been scheduled for the 26th through the 30th of October, 2020.
In another development, the Chairman held a joint meeting with the Boje and Katabang communities to resolve the existing boundary issues between them. The meeting was well attended by both community Chiefs, men and youths.
