In a bid to foster educational advancement in the State. recently, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Professor Benedict Bengioushuye Ayade, earlier inspected the edifice facility of British Canadian International School, Kakum, Obudu.
Senator Ayade at the inspection exercise was accompanied by the; Honourable Health Commissioner, Dr. Betta Edu; Director General, C'River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Janet David Ekpenyong and the Executive Chairman CR-SUBEB Barrister Stephen Odey Ph D CRN- Senatorial in a jiffy.
Professor Ayade is optimistic to ardent a difference in the educational sector through his creation of this neoteric project which comprises of administrative block, refectory, 24/7 internet connectivity in the library, better laboratory furniture than those found in Nigeria universities.
The Governor mission toward the British/Canadian School are vast, to skill up future technocrats as well as produce renowned ICT guru and Computer Wizards across the state.
The mega computerized building is sited at Kakum, Obudu area of Cross river State. Project-of-fact, this will be the first of its kind in the entire West Africa, it will be awarding degrees in collaboration with the British Canadian team, share affiliation with other universities across the world, particularly Canada and Britain.
