3 persons have been confirmed dead and 6 injured in a canoe mishap on Wednesday In Bunyia Irruan of Boki Local Government in Cross River State.

 In A phone conversation with one of our correspondent, the canoe was carrying up to 15 passengers died when it suddenly capsized.

 Sean Tommy Ewa, confirmed the incident to Boki Blog in a a Facebook chat. According to him, the canoe was conveying the victims from the farm to the village when it capsized.
