As we head to the polls in about 24 hours, it is judicious to review the escapades of Hon. Dr. Itam Abang's 4 years Legislative journey in the Cross River State House of Assembly. 

This period in review has been quite eventful with a cache of benevolence that are speaking for Hon Itam Abang stewardship in office. The Legislative term has its own peculiar setbacks which contended with the Will to bring about top notch representation to the Constituency thereby limiting the original intention conceived ab initio. Yet, the Honorable Member has hewn outstanding strides from the rocks of this turbulent administration. 

ON PEOPLE'S REPRESENTATION.

1. Hon Dr. Itam Abang is the only Cross River State House of ASSEMBLY Member to Hold three town hall meetings across her Constituency.

2. Hon. Dr. Itam Abang is constructing an ultramodern Constituency ICT complex in Abo Ogbagante for the Constituency. The ICT complex when completed will play host to numerous educational and business opportunities that will be beneficial to the the good people of Boki1. It is important to note however that Hon. Dr. Itam Abang is still the only legislator to have ventured for this capital intensive infrastructural project amongst her 24 colleagues serving in the Assembly, and the first State House member to initiate and built this project in the Constituency. 

3. She has completed a brand new 4 classroom bloc awarded by SUBEB to Abo Ogbagante. While provision and terms of this project was only made for renovation, she made up the budget and built a completely new structure for the school.

4. Hon. Dr. Itam Abang has been responsible for the appointment of a good number of constituents in Governor Ben Ayade's led administration. She was responsible for the appointment of Mr. Philip Ojua as the Constituency Community Relations officer for Boki1 among several others.

5. She has attracted some Empowerment programs and opportunities to the Constituency. This dividends includes political placements, Empowerment incentives, recommendations of constituents for various privileges etc.

6. Hon. Dr. Itam Abang has masterminded the employment of over 30 constituents into the State and Federal civil services since she assumed office. These jobs that range from lecturing to health, security and teaching are testimonies of her motherly concern for unemployment in the Constituency. 

7. Hon. Itam Abang has responded promptly whenever she is called upon by any communities in crisis within the Constituency. She can be likened to an emergency response center due to her availability whenever she's called. She has dutifully used her sphere of contacts to provide handy palliatives for communities that would call on her for any assistance. She has efficiently dispense her onion of serving as an accessible front-runner for her people.

8. Dr Itam Abang has meticulously carried the Constituency women along in all events and activities that concerned women. She is credited with the highest attendant bit of women engagement and participation in politics. She's a role model for women emancipation in Cross River State politics.


LEGISLATIVE FEET

Boki1 State Constituency this time has been auspicious to have a thoroughly furnished intelligent academia as her law maker in the 8th Assembly. Hon. Dr. Itam Abang has graced the Cross River State 8th Assembly as one of the few most decorated legislators in the house. She is standing shoulder square with the best in the house who tried their best to savor the taste of legislating in this assembly. She has been a sensation with 8 Sponsored Bills in the house, and one of the few Committee chairmen that has painstakingly carried out their oversight duties.

Hon. Itam Abang has satisfied the core requirements of lawmaking with a staggering profile of people's oriented Bills and several motions in the floor of Cross River State 8th Assembly. She has obtained glistening Legislative credentials that behooves her to return for a second term.

As lights beam on this meritorious effort of Hon. Dr. Itam Abang to give robust representation to her people in a perilous economic climate, perspiring assurances are making fair weather for better days ahead as she is returned to complete the good work.
Boki1 will be in a senior ranking seat of the 9th Assembly of Cross River State with Hon. Dr. Itam Abang's return, and would be in poll position to ask for some of the highest portfolios and benefits in the floor of the house as leadership of legislative business is constituted in hierarchy. 
Reelecting Hon. Itam Abang is creating a sundry window that may herald Boki Constituency(1) in Cross River State highest legislative hierarchy.
