Ahead of Saturday's National Assembly election, no fewer than 14 political parties have endorsed Sir Victor Abang-Mature as their sole candidate for Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency.
The adoption, which took place at Ikom LGA, witnessed a mammoth crowd of supporters who came into to weigh their strength behind Mature.

The parties include, People's Party of Nigeria, Action Alliance, Alliance for Social Democrat, Mega Party of Nigeria amongst others.
Speaking, Pastor Ntami Esege, DG of the Political Parties Coalition and Groups, explained that Mature was the most suitable personality for the Federal slot having served meritoriously in several positions.
Also, Mr Charles Okoi, governorship candidate of Alliance for Social Democrat, said that after a carefully analysis on all the candidates, the group found Victor Abang as a team player and a gentleman who will run an inclusive representation if voted into office.
"I urge all of you here to go to the field on Saturday and cast your vote for Victor Abang. He has been tasted and trusted and I'm very sure that victory is certain for him.
Responding, Mature said he was going to provide a positive change for the people of Ikom/Boki federal constituency if voted into office.
He thanked the group for weighing their strength behind him, assuring that he won't disappoint the people's mandate if voted into office.
He expressed confidence with the support his campaign team has received over the period of the electioneering, saying that VICTORY is sure come February 16.
