Rev. P. J. Ochang, APC stalwart in Boki made this known while addressing APC supporters in a meeting of the just concluded polling unit by polling units meetings. 

The Reverend who is a blooded and dogged APC stakeholder doubling also as the DG to the APC candidate for Ikom/Boki House of Rep 2019, Hon Cletus Obun, told supporters to mobilize themselves and ensure that come February 16th all their thumbs will be printed for APC, and also a repeat in March too.


Also speaking about the Candidacy of Hon Cletus Obun and the tricks played by INEC in substituting and summiting their list, APC is a political party not INEC or Court, and the Party has cleared Obun as her candidate, APC has only one Ikom/Boki candidate. Hon Cletus Obun.

He went further to say "We don't have time for war of words. Let me for the first time correct an impression; Obun is not struggling any ticket with anybody. Obun is the APC candidate for Ikom/Boki Fed house of Reps 2019."

"Lastly APC is stronger and has come to stay, nobody in team Obun that will leave APC, we have stayed and built the party for the past Nineteen years without no political appointment yet we kept the faith so is not now anyone can push us aside, we are known for our doggedness, this is our party and no one can force us out, they met us here and we appreciate it, and they must accept our hand of friendship so we can work as a term, because we need more to join us. Only the National Party can change Obun's name. We are "blooded party men not adopted" If the party at the National substitute our name it stand and we remain dogged as ever in working for the party, but for now Obun is the party candidate"

The Reverend also plead with supporters to stay calm, shun any form of violent but resist any iota of intimidation from the PDP, and make sure during voting every vote count. He also said "Our first assignment is to re-elect Mr president. In the state is already an old news that the sitting Governor is preparing his hand over speech, and our incoming Governor Dist. Sen. John Owan Enoh should start preparing his list of cabinet, the message is very clear Owan is the next Governor of Cross River State. Let us all be strong and voting ready for Mr President we must Exodusly approach this tax. Nigeria must be sanitize totally."
