Barr. Ekpungu Reinstated as Commissioner of New Cities
Barr. George Ekpungu who had earlier resigned from his position as commissioner of new cities development to allow him contest in the Primary election for Ikom/Boki Federal House of Reps has been reinstated.
This was in regards to the Governor's decision to reinstate all appointees who had earlier resigned to contest in the Primary elections.
A big congrats to him.
If a set of people who are a complete and perfect specimen of hedonism and ascribed to selves as repository of knowledge left their exalted offices to to seek for greener pastures elsewhere in the same state it shows they were discontented with their present portfolios. As they left, a discerning majordomo would have known they never loved their positions. And to now reintergrate such in the system is like a forceful reversed discrimination. Otherwise those who left to seek elective positions ought to be swept away and provided an enabling situation where others never to have been known to taste an appointment to do so. Here lies the heedless follies of an unbridled youth.
