We visited 'anglophone' refugees in the Biajua refugee camp wherein we spent half a day with the feeble and kids who had stayed behind as ALL the men were unavailable. During the day, the latter all go farming and hustling for survival. In this camp like in others, what You have in abundance is hunger and misery.

You won't imagine just to what extent the Nigerian people as a whole have been kind to our people. Herein, the former health centre has been evacuated to a new site with the older structure completely handed to refugees.

The local government of the area has equally provided our people with vast areas of land for farming as the men go to the plantations all day to return at night. Refugees in Biajua are principally from the Dadi village and kembong and we are told by the authorities that the number exceeds four thousand. The refugees have perfectly integrated themselves in the area, helped by the language factor.

We cooked with the kids, ate with them, played with them, left behind some monetary support and departed, to return again in the very near future

One of the most tears-provoking experiences caught on camera at the Biajua refugee zone is that above, which image surpasses a thousand words. It gives an idea of what refugees therein, in the Boki local government area, Nigeria, are going through by the day.

On Wednesday March 7 2018, Agbor denies his twin brother Eyong, his own share of the 2-kitchen spoons of poorly cooked rice served to them by their mum. Even among kids, only the strong survive. The level of starvation, hunger, misery, etc, is in historic proportions.

This is why we must lunch the #operationgoback2Nija# next week......
